Pete Herrick
Born in the Midwest, Pete Herrick has been in radio broadcasting for 27 years, most of that time in Charlotte on Kiss 95.1 known as “Yankee Pete.” In addition to his time on the radio, he is an emcee and host for events around the country both big and small. He first started playing at age 10 and has experience with all brass instruments; performing with his school concert band, jazz band, marching band and even spent a few summers on the back of an antique firetruck in parades playing the tuba in a dixieland band! Pete has been the voice for several drum & bugle corps including the Santa Clara Vanguard, the commercial voice of DCI West and his voice has been heard in dozens of performances of college and high school bands around the country. Pete and his wife Tessa live at the north end of Lake Norman with their dogs Stewart and Dallas.
