DAY 2 – FRIDAY, JUNE 1
AM – Arrival into Paris, Charles De Gaulle Airport. Meet your tour escort at baggage claim. Retrieve your luggage, clear customs and board your private motor coach. Retrieve band instruments/equipment at airport cargo. Depart for Normandy.
12 PM – Lunch on your own
PM – Arrival in Normandy. Check into your hotel.
PM – Dinner in hotel (to be confirmed)
PM – Possible evening rehearsal
DAY 3 – SATURDAY, JUNE 2
7 AM – Breakfast at hotel
8 AM – Depart for morning tour of WWII historic sites in Normandy including visit of Arromanches 360 (20-minute film)
10 AM – Visit of Arromanches
12 PM – Lunch on your own
1 PM – Transfer to Sainte-Mère-Église for the D-Day Memorial Parade and Musical Salute
2 PM – Musical Salute to Liberation in the Town Square (Concert featuring UNC Charlotte)
5 PM – D-Day Memorial Parade
5:30 PM – Dinner in Sainte-Mère-Église
7 PM – Travel back to hotel for overnight
DAY 4 – SUNDAY, JUNE 3
6 AM – Breakfast at hotel
7 AM – Board coach and transfer to Saint James on the Northeastern edge of Brittany for morning visit and Memorial Concert at the Brittany American Cemetery (approx. 2 hour drive)
9:15 AM – Arrive and prepare for Memorial Concert
10 AM – Memorial Concert performance and ceremony at Brittany American Cemetery in Saint James
PM – Transfer to Mont. St. Michel for a tour of the medieval town and fortress abbey
PM – Lunch on own
4 PM – Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
PM – Enjoy the evening in Trouville
DAY 5 – MONDAY, JUNE 4
7 AM – Breakfast at hotel
8 AM – Transfer to the Normandy American Cemetery at Omaha Beach for the Memorial Concert
9:15 AM – Arrive at American Cemetery at Omaha Beach and prepare for Memorial Concert
10 AM – Memorial Concert performance and ceremony at Normandy American Cemetery
AM – Explore the cemetery on your own
12 PM – Lunch on your own
1 PM – Board coach and depart for Paris
PM – Check into Paris hotel
PM – Dinner and overnight in hotel
DAY 6 – TUESDAY, JUNE 5
AM – Breakfast at hotel
AM – Board coach and depart for guided city tour of Paris
12 PM – Lunch on your own
2 PM – Visit to the Eiffel Tower (a ticket will be provided to the second level observatory)
7 PM – Dinner and evening in Montmartre
PM – Return to hotel for overnight
DAY 7 – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6
AM – Breakfast at hotel
AM – Board coach and depart for visit to the Louvre Museum
PM – Lunch on your own
1 PM – Transfer to Jardin d’Acclimatation
2 PM – Rehearsal
3 PM – Performance at Jardin d’Acclimatation
3:45 PM – End of performance, transfer to restaurant
